Dear Colleagues,

I’d like to personally welcome each of you, to the new era of MSRM. It’s an exciting time for our society, as we continue to grow, we strive to remain adaptable and on the cutting edge.

For the new colleagues, the Mediterranean Society for Reproductive Medicine (MSRM), established in 2002, is a society for the study of all aspects of reproductive medicine, for the promotion of science and research in all aspects of human reproduction, for the understanding of evidence based practice between clinicians and for the enhancement of communication between scientists interested in these subjects.

Furthermore, I’d like to give you an idea of what you can expect and what we hope to achieve. As most of you already know, local Workshops are organized regularly, by members of the Society in their own country, independent of the Annual Meeting.

Upcoming events:

  • a MSRM session has been included in the scientific program of the 17th World Congress on Human Reproduction in Rome, Italy (15-18 March 2017)
  • a Workshop in Budva, Montenegro (20-22 April 2017)
  • the MSRM Annual Meeting in Alexandria, Egypt (02-06 May 2017)
  • a MSRM International Meeting «Hot Topics in Reproductive Medicine» in Crete, Greece (22-24 September 2017)
  • a MSRM Meeting in Trieste, Italy (in October)

We are also pleased to introduce you the new MSRM website (https://msrmsociety.com). Our intension was to create a more practical and interactive site. Please visit the new site and send us your comments, your news, an article or an interview that you would like to share. Feel free to contact us and become a member of our web society.

Before I finish, I would like to mention that our future aims include the increase of the educational activities of the Society and the establishment of a Diploma for those wishing to get a certificate of their knowledge in reproductive medicine.

Once again, welcome to the MSRM new era. Let’s work together to make this Society greater!
We will be glad to have you on board!
Best Regards,

Professor Antonis Makrigiannakis MD, PhD
